World cyclist brings message of peace to U.A.E.
Lok Bandhu Karki has visited 97 countries since 2004 and his target is to
visit 153 countries by 2017. He can tell you each one in order. More
impressive than that, he visited all of them by bicycle.
Karki arrived at Al Ain City in the UAE on 24.04.2014. He said the purpose
of his globe-spanning "mission" is to spread the message of world peace and
universal brotherhood.
"The main fact among us is that we all are humans," Karki said. "All
creations of one God. Every human is equal in the creator's eyes."
Karki, who is staying with a local Nepalese family, will be in the UAE for
the next few days. I met him with my colleagues in Al Ain and encouraged him
for his efforts.
